Managing Mental Health During COVID 19 for people with disabilities and their families
Managing Mental Health during COVID 19 is important for everyone, including people with disabilities and their families, who often experience continued isolation. This webinar will focus on challenges to mental health compounded by the effects of the pandemic. You will learn about practical stress management techniques that you can use to help manage your mental health in times of uncertainty and isolation.

After attending this workshop, participants will have a deeper understanding of how uncertainty and anxiety are linked and the effect that stress has on our mental and physical health. We will aim to normalize the challenges faced by the pandemic and will empower participants with techniques they can use to help themselves regain a sense of control and promote mental wellness.

This workshop is partially funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, through an initiative supporting the mental health of adults with developmental disabilities, families and (unpaid) caregivers.
